A quick catch up: Planning, brainstorming and new artworks

It feels like a lifetime ago since I last wrote a blog... and honestly speaking... its been since new years!

This year absolutely started off in the most chaotic way, and we were going at full, pedal to the metal, speed from the get go.

I know I still owe you a Rand Show blog! It has only been two months... silently shakes my head in shame!

I promise to do so very soon!

The past few weeks have looked a little quiet on the painting front... It has been cold, and the petrol situation has gotten us all down. I have been running the 15% fuel discount special, but after chatting to the team, I have actually decided to drop our prices from the 1st of July to R320 for canvass painting events. This will be our new price, specialized events like the framed florals will be decided on a case to case basis.

Now that all the formalities have been covered I can tell you what I have been up to behind the scenes

Absolute colorful chaos.

I launched our brand new e-commerce website! Yes You can now buy ALL the Messy Masterpieces products from our website!!! T-shirts, boxes, aprons EVERYTHING! I am so excited about this! If you haven't checked out our new website, go have a look! Sign up for our mailing list, you might just get a surprise every now and again.

If you've been following along, you would have spotted a little sneak peek of our two gorgeous new heels paintings. Well... they're just the beginning! I have been busy planning, and I am so excited to say that there are 8 brand-new paintings on the way!

But it isn't just new artwork.

There are new venues in the works, exciting collaborations, fresh event ideas, and a whole lot of dreams slowly becoming reality. Sometimes the quiet seasons aren't actually quiet at all... they're the seasons where the magic gets built.

And while I've been planning all of this, something else hit me...

We're almost celebrating ONE YEAR of Messy Masterpieces.

One year of paint-covered tables. One year of nervous first brush strokes. One year of laughter, friendships, wine spills, happy tears, and watching people realize they actually can create something beautiful.

What started as a little dream has grown into a community that I honestly couldn't have imagined. Every single booking, every comment, every share, every person who has sat down behind one of our easels... you've helped build this colorful little world with me.

Waking up this morning to a THOUSAND FOLLOWERS this morning, absolutely blew my mind and warmed my heart!

So thank you for being part of the journey.

The next chapter is looking brighter, bigger, and messier than ever... and I cannot wait to share it all with you.
