Sometimes you can diarize things like “write a new blog post,” and it still won’t happen! Man, am I guilty of that. So now, coffee in hand, I’m sitting and typing my thoughts.

Many of you know about our little business taking a break during Covid, and our slow but steady reopening and expanding our paint cans this year. But if I could sum up the last five months in one simple sentence…

Blessed beyond belief.

I have to sit back and admire this little dream of mine — and often, I need a small pinch to believe it’s actually happening. With all the odds piled against us, and forces trying to dull our enthusiasm, we’ve grown. We’ve reached heights I couldn’t have even dreamt of.

I had a plan… more of a wish, really. I spent a lot of time in my car, talking out loud to our Lord, telling Him about my dreams and asking for His guidance. I started journaling — writing down my wins, losses, fears, and hopes.

And now, all of those dreams and more have been reached. This isn’t a brag post — this is a YOU GO, LORD! THANK YOU! post.

I have so many ideas for Messy Masterpieces — so many plans, dreams, and wishes. I’m beyond excited to see what 2026 holds for this little business! I can’t wait to keep painting with you, creating memories with you, and sharing little pieces of my heart along the way.

Thank you to our Messy followers — without you, I wouldn’t be sitting here with tears in my eyes and gratitude in my heart. Thank you for walking this journey with me.

For now, I’m heading back to my brushes! We still have seven weeks left in our Messy Masterpieces 2025 calendar — and in those seven weeks, 20 more events to go!

I want to thank our amazing restaurant partners. I really could not do it without you. Your hospitality, your amazing staff, your fantastic food, and more importantly each owner for allowing me the opportunity. Thank you!

Thank you, Lord.
