People often think I’m the one running the show at Messy Masterpieces, but let me tell you a little secret: I’m not a one-woman act. Before any paint even hits a canvas, there’s a whole crew making it happen. A small business doesn’t run on magic alone, it runs on people who show up, get messy, and somehow survive my chaos. And let me tell you… behind every brush stroke and every paint-splattered table is a full-on messy machine… my very own village of superheroes. 

👑 The Mom Boss – The Creative Behind the Messy Mementos, the keeper of Host Health!

This queen owns The Vitamin Bar (aka the reason I survive event weeks), when those energy downers kick in or flue bug tries its luck, she is my go to! But that’s not all... she’s also the mastermind behind our FABULOUS Messy Candles, the ones that smell like heaven and look like art. Basically, creativity runs in the family.

👑 The MIL Rockstar – The Quiet Shadow Behind the Paint Bottles

My mother-in-law is better than yours! (Yep, I said it!) She’s the right hand to my chaos: event prep, set-up, pack-down, assistance… she’s there. You’ve probably seen her quietly moving behind the scenes. No one cleans a brush like she does. 🎶 Cue the “No one shoots like Gaston” song but with paintbrushes.

💪 The Muscle & The Opener of Canvases – My Other Half

The legend himself. If he’s not opening canvas wrappers, he’s stenciling, stocking paints, or hauling gear like an absolute champ, all while cheering me on at every step. Having a partner this invested in Messy Masterpieces? I’m one lucky lady.

 📸 The Design Wizard & Paparazzi Extraordinaire – My Bestie 

Every poster, every piece of branding, every ad that makes Messy Masterpieces look so fabulous? Yep, that’s her magic. This woman is a one-woman creative agency. Not only is she behind the look of MM, but she’s also my personal paparazzi, snapping the golden shots at events. Basically: insane talent wrapped in glitter. 

✨ The Left Hand – The Dynamite

This kid is my mini-me in training. The paint pourer, stencil champion, set-up queen — my left hand at bigger events. Don’t be surprised if you see this firecracker hosting one of her own events soon. She already has that Messy flair in the making.

⚡ The Lightning Bolt – The Muscle Junior

If there’s a crate to move, a canvas stack to load, or a car to pack like a pro? This legend is on it. A lightning bolt of energy and the mini version of my other half. Honestly, the way this kid packs a car? Olympic-level skills.

🥂 The Tequila Twins – The Backup Queens

Every small business needs hype-women like these. They’re our number one fans, always painting up a storm at events. And when it comes to the bigger paint events? They’re right there with me, set-up tools in one hand and tequila shots in the other. Honestly,  Lifesavers.

It takes a village to run a small business, and MAN, do I have a village. I couldn’t do any of this without them. So next time you’re sipping wine and splashing paint with me at Messy Masterpieces, know this: behind every brush stroke, there’s a whole crew making it happen. And I’m endlessly grateful for my messy machine. 💖🎨
