July. Wow. What a whirlwind.
When I look back, it’s hard to believe how much life, laughter, and creativity we packed into just a few weeks. Five events. Three towns. Two provinces. And best of all? 120 smiling faces leaving with their very own messy masterpiece.
The Magic of the Month
Each event had its own personality. Different towns, different venues, different people, but the same energy. The same spark when someone realizes “Hey, I can actually paint!”. The same room-filling laughter when the wine (or the paint water) threatens to spill.
As a small business owner, I don’t take any of this for granted. Every booking, every guest, every full table makes my heart so full.
A Big Thank You
None of this would be possible without our stunning venues and their incredible staff. You open your doors, you go the extra mile, and you help us create spaces where people can relax, reconnect, and create something beautiful. You’re the unsung heroes behind the scenes, and we see you. We’re so grateful for you.
And then there’s my amazing team — my family. Blessed doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel having them behind me every step of the way. From stenciling canvases to pouring paint, to lugging boxes, calming my nerves, and cheering me on, you make Messy Masterpieces possible. I couldn’t do this without you, and I wouldn’t want to.
To our guests: thank you for showing up, with your friends, your partners, your kids, or even just your curious selves. You’re the reason Messy Masterpieces exists.
Looking Ahead
If July taught me anything, it’s that this little business of mine has big dreams. The support you’ve shown us makes me so excited for what’s coming next.
There are new venues, new artworks, and even bigger plans on the horizon. I can’t wait to share them with you.
From My Heart to Yours
To every single one of the 120 people who painted with us this month: thank you. You’re not just guests, you’re part of the Messy Masterpieces family now.
Here’s to more paint, more laughter, and more moments that make life feel lighter.
With a grateful heart
Sonette
